Kafoo: Contact Notes (“the App”), from here on Kafoo, is owned and operated by Konekt LLC, a company registered in the United States.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your information when you use Kafoo, in compliance with global privacy laws including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, and others.

1. What This Policy Covers
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Kafoo mobile applications (iOS and Android)
- The Kafoo website
- All related services provided by Konekt LLC
This policy does not apply to data stored by B2B clients on their own servers. In B2B cases, each company manages and controls its own data.
Kafoo is intended for adult users aged 18 and older.
2. Information We Collect
Kafoo collects the following categories of personal data:
A. Information You Provide
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Contact information imported from your device (with permission)
- Photos and videos you upload
- Notes you write about people or interactions
- Other content you voluntarily add to the App
All personal content written or uploaded inside Kafoo is encrypted and only accessible to you.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage analytics (how you use the App)
- Device information (device model, OS version, IP address)
- Crash logs (via Crashlytics)
- Location data (if you enable it)
C. Payment and Subscription Information
- Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Stripe process payments on our behalf.
We do not store your full payment details.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
B2C Users (Regular App Users)
Your Data Is
- Stored locally on your device, encrypted.
- Backed up to Google Cloud and Firebase using strong encryption.
- Not readable or accessible by Konekt LLC — even in encrypted backups.
B2B Users (Enterprise Clients)
- All user-generated data is stored on the company’s own servers.
- Konekt LLC has no access to this information.
- Only minimal metadata required for authentication or service integrity passes through Kafoo systems.
4. International Data Transfers
Some data (such as encrypted backups, authentication info, analytics) may be
stored or processed in the United States or other regions used by Google Cloud and Firebase.
We rely on appropriate legal safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), to protect international transfers under GDPR.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your data for the following purposes:
- To operate and improve the App
- To provide secure backup and sync functionality
- To authenticate your account
- To offer support and respond to inquiries
- To process subscriptions and payments
- To analyze performance and fix issues (analytics and crash reports)
We never sell personal data.

- And delete all encrypted backups after account deletion
B2B customer data retention is governed by each company’s internal policies.

Kafoo integrates with:
- Google Calendar (optional)
- Firebase (authentication, analytics, storage)
- Google Cloud (encrypted backups)
- Apple Sign-In & Google Sign-In
- Crashlytics (error reporting)
- Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and Stripe (payments)
These providers have their own privacy policies and operate under strict agreements.
11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Kafoo uses analytics tools and similar technologies in the app and website to:
- Understand usage patterns
- Improve performance
- Detect crashes and errors
You may disable certain tracking through device or browser settings.
12. Children’s Privacy
Kafoo is designed for adults 18+.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
If we learn that a minor has created an account, we will delete it immediately.
